What Is UpFundMe and What Do We Do?

Up Fund Me is a capital access platform that connects entrepreneurs and business operators with accredited investors and private lenders. We are not a traditional crowdfunding site. Our focus is on private capital markets—equity, debt, or hybrid funding—depending on the needs of the business and the risk appetite of the capital provider.
We work primarily with early-stage to growth-stage businesses looking to raise between $10K and $10M. This includes startups, small-to-mid sized operating companies, and certain asset-backed projects.
How the Process Works
1. Submit a Capital Request
Founders begin by submitting a business profile that includes the amount of capital sought, the structure of the deal (equity, debt, convertible note, etc.), and relevant background materials such as pitch decks, financials, or investor memos. Our team reviews submissions to ensure the request is coherent, complete, and appropriate for our network.
2. Internal Review and Matching
Once approved, the opportunity is matched with potential capital providers in our network. These may include accredited angel investors, private credit firms, family offices, or other private capital sources. We do not broadcast deals publicly. Matching is based on industry fit, deal size, capital type, and historical investor preferences.
3. Warm Introduction
If there’s a fit, we facilitate a direct introduction between the founder and investor. From that point forward, the two parties are responsible for due diligence, negotiation, and execution. We may offer optional advisory support on structure, valuation, and term sheets.
Who Uses UpFundMe
Founders raising pre-seed or seed capital
Operating businesses in need of non-bank financing
Entrepreneurs seeking strategic capital for growth
Real estate sponsors or asset-based operators with private credit needs
Investors looking for vetted deal flow within their focus areas
What Makes UpFundMe Different
Up Fund Me is not a marketplace or listing site. We are a private network with a direct approach. There is no public fundraising feed. Every connection is intentional.
We also do not charge a success fee or percentage of capital raised. We operate on flat-fee engagements or retained advisory, depending on the scope of support.
